Story seems interesting, art isn't the best and kept taking me out of the experience. I would tolerate it more if it was more stylized and less generically bad, but we haven't had enough story yet even for that. I might lower my score later but we'll see how this develops.

Seems generic, no eccentricities or comedic stuff. Sparkly happy MC like your typical one, fanservice and "most beautiful girl" cliche, I checked it out since the rating was an 8, but unless the next chapters make it unique it probably won't stay that long

@tae_ka_pre Ratings below 6 are incredibly rare, and the vast majority of the genre is generic. There are plenty of examples with very high ratings and awful stories. For example, 33085 has always been generic and is rated 9. Both 21699 and 33797 are generic AND outwardly bad and they're still rated 8. 26297 and 21055 are also generic and also rated 8. I don't even know why you added the "isekai" qualifier here, but you're still not even close to correct. I'm pretty sure the most popular manga on this site was 5Toubun when it was still going and the only thing unique about it was the fact that there were quintuplets (which came after god knows how many titles about dating twins). Each girl was a cookie-cutter stereotype and the protagonist was no better.

Are you serious? Have you not read 33085? It's a parody, dued. You said it's generic but I bet you didn't read it all the way.

The MC calls out cliches and makes fun of it when a terrorist attack hit their school he went: "They actually fucking did it, the terrorists attack the school cliche"

When he fought in a tournament, he literally brought bags of blood and trained to look like a mob character by spinning the exact way a mob character would when he's hit and it was comedy gold.

It's a literal comedy isekai parody manga making fun of cliches. Did you seriously read it?

For 5toubun hanayome, it was not the most top rated manga or top followed one. It always was Komi-san Komyushou and Gokufudou actual good comedy manga.

See, I didn't really get the fact why it was that well liked, mainly because of the art.

But dude, 5toubun was liked EVERYWHERE.

There was fan art and a whole fandom for Miku, it was like Nisekoi with how much the fans loved the series. It even had an anime.

Even Mrbeast, a famous youtuber loved watched the anime

And what makes 5toubun different was that the characters feel more real unlike a generic harem. No tsunderes or yanderes or kuuderes. There were some times the girls were nosy, especially Nino, but they were pretty chill.

There was no generic girl almost gets assaulted but mc saves her cliche, no ntr bait, no "she fell in love with mc just because he calls her cute once", no "oh nyo a girl told me she loves me! Now I gotta act all blushy and beta".

5toubun was a pretty chill read though it's not one I would rate that high, just a casual read I did.

The Isekai Meikyuu manga isn't rated an 8, it's 7.85 dude. Reading through it, it isn't generic, it has progression, but it's basically just a hentai slave fetish manga. Thing is though, they actually have buildup to the deed, not just "oh we fuck now here we go boiii"

I don't really like the slave thing in manga, but I'm not the only one who hates it judging with the ratings and comments.

The Tondemo Skill manga, I read it the first few chapters so I don't know how the rest goes, but it didn't seem like a generic isekai to me. It's basically a cooking manga with a wolf god friend by MC

You're judging things based on the cover dude. Did you really check things through? You just seem really bitter and hate stuff without checking it.

@tae_ka_pre The fact that you spent several sentences appealing to the fact that other people like 5Toubun in a conversation THAT IS ABOUT PEOPLE LIKING GENERIC MANGA shows that you're not worth anybody's time. I wouldn't have brought it up if people didn't like it. That's the fucking point of my comment. You also thought that comparing it to Nisekoi supported YOUR argument, and somehow managed not to realize that Miku is a very obvious kuudere and Nino is a standard tsundere (as well as Ichika, a typical "onee-san", and Yotsuba, a typical klutz). You also got upset over a rounded number??? Like, what? You're either mentally stunted or really young. If you want a proper response, don't make all of your points comically bad.

They aren't fleshed out tsunderes or kuuderes. Nino disliked mc and when she learned she liked him she became honest and even blowed him kisses. That's not a typical "b-baka" tsundere"

Miku might seem like a kuudere, but she shows way too much emotion than a generic dead face harem kuudere.

I like how you didn't even mention any of the other manga I spoke about.

And Nisekoi was a comedy manga. It was eccentric and bombastic, but I disliked it in the end as well.

I never said I liked these series, I have several criticisms as well. I'm just stating the fact of WHY people like them.

You're here spouting "I'm mature because I hate stuff the bandwagon likes" that's you right now.

You're not only completely illogical, you're ignoring certain points I brought up earlier because YOU KNEW yourself that you didn't read those manga enough to know that they weren't your typical harem isekai bs manga
