This got a little too long for the end page, but Kogane calls Goro's Mom 'Okaa-sama' which is a very formal way to refer to (someone's) mother. In this case she's calling her 'Honorable (Goro's) Mother' and it's also kind of a declaration that she'll be the daughter in law because it could be interpreted as 'My Honorable Mother' too. There's no real way to express this in English, so I just went with 'Mother' instead of 'Mom since nobody says 'Honorable Mother' in English except probably some weird British nobility.

The other thing- why am I fine with calling Akane 'Onee-chan' but translate 'Okaa-sama'? Because nobody calls their sister 'Honorable Big SIster' or 'Affectionate Big Sister' in English, you just use her name. It would be very weird for Kogane (and Goro!) to say 'Oh hello Big Sister', or a worse abomination I've seen where you translate '-chan' to 'little', like 'Oh hello little big sister'. So there's no non-awkward equivalent other than just using her name. But calling your Mom (or Mom in law) 'Mother' is perfectly normal so I just use it. Plus I like Onee-chans so nyah. Your Translator May Vary!

Heh, this is my favorite chapter in a little while. Goro's mother is just so... motherly. I knew the question of the shed pieces would come up somewhere, and here we are. I think the contrast between Goro and his mom really shows off how Goro's emotions are still buried. Goro's mom is free with her desires, but Goro only gets emotional when one of his emotions (jealousy) hits a breaking point, even if it's a harmless one. Goro goes from 0-100, and he needs to learn better regulation. Not saying that's easy, tho! Thanks as always to sarusa and thumper.
