I think he'll be mentioned or show up in a single frame in a future chapter because he's an important plot device either wayWell, once we knew he was alive he had to show up again... hopefully that's the last time!
We already know he's getting arrested for the murder of the lady that got possessed by the plant youkai after, knowing Japan's justice system he isn't getting out of prison for a long time, if ever.I honestly think Goro using -san for Kanasaka shows Goro's maturity.

thats what i meant to say, as a mere mention and flashback panelWe already know he's getting arrested for the murder of the lady that got possessed by the plant youkai after, knowing Japan's justice system he isn't getting out of prison for a long time, if ever.
Thanks so much for working on this. Just make sure you don't burn yourself out.Well, once we knew he was alive he had to show up again... hopefully that's the last time!
Should have another chapter up tonight or tomorrow. This two a week (to catch up) is working out so far.
Well, part of the problem here is that they don't have a body. The plant youkai pretty much took over her body, and then she got incinerated in the end.We already know he's getting arrested for the murder of the lady that got possessed by the plant youkai after, knowing Japan's justice system he isn't getting out of prison for a long time, if ever.
Not good, but not horrible, either.Wikipedia said:Manslaughter is a crime in Japan under the title of "injury causing death". It is defined as "causing another person to suffer injury resulting in death". The minimum penalty for manslaughter is three years, with a de facto maximum of life in prison since no maximum is specified.

What intrigues me is the scary aura Goro seemed to have there. I dont think its just meant as a scary monster if you dare pull some shit again. Im thinking that aura is a bit more on the literal side of things.I appreciate Zanma-sensei putting a nice little bow on things. It's now explicit that Glasses was a dark reflection of Goro, and Goro has explicitly turned his back on ever being like Glasses. It is re-emphasized that Goro will take care of Akane using the bonds he's formed. Poor Mogami-sama. Her work never ends, though the office sure is glad to have her back. I was surprised that our kind ol' Goro lied to Glasses to try and keep him on the straight and narrow even as the curse fades away. Surprised, but very pleased. A good example of "nice is not kind". Importantly, we see Goro stepping up as a guardian while also taking the higher road with Glasses. Excellent chapter. Thanks as always to sarusa and thumper.
Speaking only with knowledge from this chapter, I thought the scary aura was indicative of the foxes rubbing off on him. Just to show that Goro had a new attitude about his role with his in-laws. Of course, as I, myself, have said, Zanma-sensei never does something without reason. What intrigues me is the scary aura Goro seemed to have there. Those goddesses seem to have some big plans going on involving Goro and his soon to be wife
