I agree, Mogami-san must not be human. Any bets to what she is?Aaaaand there's Stalker-kun. No, you haven't seen him before except as a menacing shadow figure.
And whoever it was who theorized that Mogami-san (new boss) probably isn't human, I think that's probably confirmed? At least if she can overpower a monster fox.
You may also notice these chapters are getting longer to accommodate the plot, which means they'll be coming even slower. But will get there.
Going with oni considering that strength. Buff boss woman considerate of working conditions and coworkers, that is wife material if I have ever seen it.I agree, Mogami-san must not be human. Any bets to what she is?
I don't think it is the stalker that is the problem. I have a feeling it is the mc's coworker. Because the doll didn't break while he was there, it only broke when she showed up and he left. The doll might have a limited range of protection. This is my imo.
I had a hunch but now it feels like his new boss is a friend of wife's family. Freakishly convenient timing there for her to show up, plus going from black company to white so quickly afyer wife got pissed off at thebold boss. It would just make sense that theyre connected in some way.
I found it interesting that it seemed that Mogami was acting on her own and is not related to the Fox Family's preparations, but we'll see how it shakes out.
My guess (I haven't actually read ahead further than 34, that should be done by Sunday maybe) is that American Evil Repelling Totem-kun used up all its power (and then broke) to make sure Mogami was there and would save Goro this time. Which would mean Mogami isn't necessarily a friend of Kogane's family, though she sure does seem non-human - but she obviously wants to protect Goro, maybe just as a subordinate she likes, or just as a decent person. I do like the oni theory! And of course it's possible that I'm wrong on American Evil Repelling Totem-kun and it was just broken by Mogami's killing aura, even though it was aimed at Stalker-kun.Going with oni considering that strength. Did you sayJust kill the stalker.
I think it'd be cool if the boss wasn't a non-human, but just a really badass, gives-no-fucks, protective middle manager. She would presumably know about monsters though.
