Gotta be honest, what was his end goal? Even if he manages to kill him, now the woman he's into is out for blood, her sister who's the strongest person in the village, her mother an ex phantom thief, and the father who will rip him a new one.

Even if he somehow survives all that there's no way he'll ever be able to go back to the village after what he's done. He's risking it all for nothing.

Getting married. Clearly, if you kill a wife's husband, she'll debase herself and marry you! That's definitely how love works.

About three more chapters! Then we're back to relationship advancement and who the heck is Mogami-san? (new boss)

For all the speculation about why Stalker-kun is such a dumbass, I kind of think the biggest reason is just that he's basically a teen boy and this is his first love/obsession. I don't know how old he actually is (since monster kitsunes live longer), but emotionally he seems to be about 16 year old boy, which is... yeah. Selfish, stupid, shortsighted. Not proud of it but I've been there! Of course then you add in that like others have said, he's an animal first, and a lot of this even becomes understandable from an animal standpoint. You kill the old male and she'll be so overcome with your manliness that it's just a given, rite?

I can definitely see a future scenario where the fox village takes Stalker-kun breaking the rules as a more serious issue than him trying to kill Goro. Clearly, as Kogane's potential future husband, her family and the village want to protect Goro, but as his bodyguard who loves cute animal books said, "This is something that effects all us foxes. So please leave it to us to solve it."

Honestly, kinda surprised that something wasn't done about him sooner. You'd think that if the Kitsune were so big on maintaining their quiet existence then they'd jump on the rumors of a fox stealing money from humans. I mean, it'd be understandable if it was tricky to figure out who among them was doing it. But given how easily that one friend of Goro-kun was able to sneak up on the bastard at the train station? Yeah.

Yeah I think it he'd been from Mother and Father's village they'd have been out in front of it. But he's from some other random village. Maybe some very rural village not too near a human town where it's normally not an issue, but Kogane passed through looking for the d-bag previous human guy?

Good on Kogane, she's got that fight in her. To have a foxwife that would instantly try to behead a man who threatens her family, that would be bliss. Goro is blessed, he better not let her go.

Don't tell me he'll be forgiven later on, because there's genuinely no reason to.. He tried killing goro on multiple occasions and would've succeeded so, if no one was around
