With Stalker-Kun about to enter the ultimate jacuzzi, I think an element that may go unnoticed in this chapter is just how powerful Mother, Father, and Akane are and what that may mean for Kogane's motivation. Kogane has said that she's not as powerful as her sister, and that Father has a lot of monster fox blood, and Mother showed her power over the last few chapters. I can see why, with such prominent family members, Kogane is so desperate to have an interspecies marriage. Achieving that sacred ritual will let her stand proudly amongst her family. Kogane's family is very supportive of her no matter what, but we can see the drive she has to achieve something important. It also highlights just how crushing the failure of her first attempt must have been.

I think her sister is working as mystic diplomat and pretty much very knowledgeable about exorcism and stuff. The fact her friend is from all around the world is saying a lot, but that’s just my theory.

My guess for Mogami's identity is that she is the one who was sent to investigate the unauthorized curse that got put on the previous boss. But she'll agree that he deserved it and let it slide.
