- "We are becoming big and famous, so inevitably other guilds/organizations are starting to try opposing us"
- "We know that some of these guilds/organizations are pressuring the Church to meddle into our affairs"
- "This is a free warning for you of the Church: don't meddle with us and we will go along fine. DO meddle....and the LITERAL SERAPHIM OF THE GODDESS YOU WORSHIP will make you realize just how stupid that would be."

And for good measure the GODDESSES themselves warned the Church through their Oracles before they even came to talk.

To be fair, they are coercing the CORRUPT church into believing that even if they DON'T listen to the multiple oracles given by their goddess there is a SERAPHIM of their goddess that can wipe their church off the map LIVING there, if the church doesn't even listen to its own gods then its their own fault when the gods wrath falls upon them. They've just got the extra incentive of a 2000 strong organization they'd be pissing off in addition to the source of their powers, a demi-god in the flesh, a vampire princess, and a Seraphim. And those are only the threats they KNOW would murder them all, there's also ALL the elves another Seraphim, a vampire army, a succubus tribe, etc etc etc. Pissing him off is assisted suicide, and we can be sure that there will be plenty of people that walk up and say 'Despite all the evidence of this being a bad idea I'd like to put my name forward for running myself through on your sword.'
