I was not expecting VR, but Miyo is really adaptable.

So it's confirmed that Mantra is somewhere between Thoughts, Consciousness, and Belief. Not unlike SMT and FFXIV, but far quicker and sharper with the effect of changing beliefs on the god in question.

So, is the wishing god dying because people no longer believe that wishes can come true?

Thanks for the release! Awesome chapter, and as always seamlessly mixing in world building with fresh new circumstances and environments. Interesting with the treasure note in the back how it said that at one point the Gods could actually do it via actually creating a synthetic reality bubble when faith was stronger.

Perhaps the big clear issue is that Miyo was getting so much guidance and power leveling she might have ended up missing a key piece of doing so with her own will and drive, vs her experienced player opponent who was going all out as himself with her as the goal of his build from the start. Fortunately she can be exceptionally strong willed and has a lot of experiences to draw on at this point.

Perhaps "the collective will of all people as refracted through an individual"? An endless set of mirrors, all of us mirror our own culture individually through our own beings and history, and then in turn influence the collective to lesser or greater extent, which then reflects back in turn.

I don't know why... but I have the slight impression that maybe, just maybe... Omoikane(or whatever is controlling it) doesn't like Susano'o... just an impression nothing conclusive.

Hmmm... it seems that at least Susano'o's little... potty break in that temple may have been justified... I am kinda scared that there may be a reason why he killed that goddess, especially after I was so vitriolic about him being an ass last chapter.

This "game" raised more than a few questions about how the kami see human life, starting with but not limited to the fact that just after Miyo drowned a bunch of her grass, they sprouted back and worshipped her harder, which by itself raises a lot of scary possibilities about how the kami first reacted to such an event.

Miyo-no-Kami is... something else :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Nope, she is dying because of the after effect of the wishes (she bear all the sin/karma/consequences for all the wish she granted) as not all the wish she granted is good. Its because, she will grant any wish (good/bad) as long as they climb the mountain by their own feet.
