momotaro are supposed to be the "heroes" but the way they operate looks like villains

on the other hand, oni are "villains" .. but they turned into hiding and mixing well with the citizenry and doesn't cause much ruckus .. unless they go berserk .. they are more like "heroes"

but oh well .. we're just seeing one side of the coin which is the onis

So far the Oni have been really underwhelming, hopefully we can see some strength to match the Momos soon

I really hate these types of enemies.
So fucking overdone bad guy. It just makes me feel really shit. no really, it does.
Some other manga also had VERY similar set up and villains who were also EXACTLY like this. Fucking overdone bad guys who would terrorise kids and fucking reanimate corpses to kill people.

Another thing I hate?
People with fucking ridiculous powers. Even worse, powers that aren't even explained until they are used.
Even worse! Powers that seem to have been completely unused in the 20 years before this happened and the dudes already had such power. I mean it looks like the only useful dude the oni side has is the instructor. How the fuck have they not been wiped out already?!
ugh...

Wait I thought they were killing Onis bc they are a powerful threat. Most of them are weak as it seems

X are supposed to be the "heroes" but the way they operate looks like villains
on the other hand, Y are "villains" [...] they are more like "heroes"
Welcome to 99% of all manga where the main cast is part of the supposed villains.

It completely ruins anything new that the "MC is part of the bad guys" premise could have brought to the table and basically turns into a palette swap of a story where the protagonist is officially recognized as one of the "good guys".
