At this point, I think we might as well make it official that Nitori is the leader of the kappas.

Hina mentioned in an earlier chapter that she was "somewhat of a leader figure" so its essentially official


ZUN's pretty much made it so that the kappa (and yamawaro, Takane was also said to be a leader figure) power structure isn't as rigid as the tengu and the tanuki, so they aren't the de-jure leaders but by merit i guess the other kappa and yamawaro treat em as such

Comicwalker release accidentally put the non-canon warning the SCoOW doujins have on the chapter (they all release at the same time under Strange Creators of Outer World along with this manga, hence the mistake), it's been removed since, the manga is still canon.

It was also on niconico but only cause it's a mirror of the comicwalker release
