I really don't want to see the culmination of all this be the equivalent of yukari stealing a sake bottle again. Other than this chapter was pretty awesome with some nice shots of okuu and reimu's new form.

That was before akimaki took over. Switch in genre was because akimaki was better at making action scenes so zun dropped that aspect in favor of a more shonen type work.

I feel like it's going to be a reasonable grudge directed at a descendant when it really should be directed at Yukari or someone who was actually there instead of the descendants of the family that were given their position because of it... At least if what I scraps I remember are correct

Reimu's Devil Trigger, seems that the legendary Hakurei Hitbox got nerfed for the purposes of awakening it, but eh, whatevs, beating enemies with style is the more Touhou thing.

Any anti-climactic grudge story would be forgiven if either:

• It's a love personal grudge between Mizuchi and Reimu's great great great great grandma.
• Mima is the onryō possessing Reimu right now. (Not the Hakurei Miko. Not anymore...)

But Suika and/or Yūgi (plus quite possibly, Kasen) is definitely going to intervene before we can hear it.

In the ying-yang is definitely Galaxy Brain 16D chess Yukari now. It was probably clear the first time we saw the ying-yang orb with Reimu in the Underground but, now, it's 100% certain.

True, most of the other manga are lore and shananegans, not some shonen battle manga.


I'm betting from what little context her backstory is going to be akin to Reimu's ancestors betraying her family as they were once servents of the Hakurei.
