Was that the dungeon-escape necklace? Sure, that eliminates the chances of the bandit boss being eaten by monsters INSIDE the dungeon. But what a waste, I pity the hungry monster more than the evil guy. Hopefully he was at least transported to the feet of Cross' teachers or just eaten by outside monsters. It was kind of funny how the minions thought about getting revenge after seeing such a display.

Hopefully. I assume that was the escape necklace for dungeons. Cross was lamenting that he only had one a few chapters back. But honestly, I would prefer the guy getting eaten by monsters, inside or outside the dungeon doesn't matter. I just don't want to see him coming back as part of the crew later.
