It's hard to a true villain to exist in this Manga, as the actual villains are the 3 strongest ladies that are trying to groom Cross and can curbstomp the demon lord while also doing environmental damage from time to time (how they made time from Cross to prepare his fight with Gimlet)

Unfortunately, every time a new villain gets introduced, they won’t stick around for long.

Spoiler: Latest chapters spoilers

Most recently the author tries to introduce some kind of necromancer who’s on a similar level of power to that of the strongest 3, yet they end up defeating him in around 4-5 chapters and quickly move on from if. So don’t expect for there to be a proper villain that the big 3 can’t defeat, yet somehow Cross would be the one to take them down.

But that's the usual for these stock fantasy settings tho? There's a demon god that the demon lord serves, or they act individually, but if the story needs a big bad and the demon lord isn't cutting it, you best believe there's a demon god waiting to either be revived or to regain strength and push for another world-domination plan.
