Nah I'm sorry but that is the stupidest reason for them being homeless.
Not to mention if it was an explosion like they say it was then it would be counted as a gas leak! And the building owner would get a fat insurance check especially since multiple apartments were effected.
Also some locations offer liability insurance like the dude above me said and even then how could they be blamed for all of that when it happened to their place and also could have killed their kids if we are being realistic in the real world and the daughter and son somehow survived...also apparently no one was renting those other apartments if no one got hurt.
But the reason I'm thinking of dropping this is cause we saw a gigantic fire twister shoot out and no other damage done to the building from the fire at all just their living room and the broken windows are scorched....they could do easy repairs while they stayed somewhere that could have been next door to the guy. Also how did they prove they did all that damage on purpose to charge them all that money or did the creator really need to make them homeless some how?
