@Sandy : if she has dwarf blood, then their consent laws apply, could still be old and not legal.

@Loli_Omamoritai : if the checkup is expensive, then the cost is a reason to not have a checkup. Especially if he keeps getting g fired, since that tends to drain funds and prevent him from saving up the fee (since it would have to be paid immediatly and he likely can't get a loan).

Though from what the appraiser says it is so rare that not knowing about the issue, or thinking to have a checkup is perfectly excusable.

A dwarf girl as the main lead is pretty new. But the thing im absolutely most hyped about is that there actually seems to be 1 main lead instead of women throwing their bodies at the MC. But seriously, having 1 female lead is amazing for a story because that 1 character can actually become fleshed out instead of a one trick pony like most harem stories.

@Loli_Omamoritai Just ask anyone that lives in the US. Going to the hospital is pretty much a death sentence for your savings and will throw you into debt hell, even with insurance. They'd rather tough it out and pray it isn't lethal than go for a check-up and have their family thrown out onto the streets because they can no longer pay rent.

From the webnocel ch 1 (mtl) about why he was never checked before :
By the way, it was possible to check aptitude.

But it's actually not very common.

The reason is simple, and it's usually common to inherit the profession of the parent, so in most cases, the same coat of arms as the parent is engraved rather than the talent.

And in most cases it's the most appropriate.

If you had the suitability of blacksmithing to take over the knight's house, would you try to get the blacksmith's coat of arms?

 That's not true.

Even if you don't have enough aptitude, you can just engrave the knight's coat of arms. You can make up for it to some extent.

It seems that the emblem that is not compatible with it can not be engraved, so at that time another item is selected
Simply put their society does not optimize crests and sticks with what is working, which is exactly how most businesses treat labout and infrastructure, no change until absolutely needed to things that do not give a competitive edge, and also how alot of accidents happen due to lack of maintenance, or over worked employees.

Then the Adventurer Guild must be a BLACK COMPANY not checking the "driver/worker" 's health condition.

@TrapCard113
Oops, sorry I don't it was that tough.
In my country, we just need to report and will be isolated (take test everyday) for 15 days before releasing.

so, he has crest that looked like Pharmacy in our world

Somehow it's so coincidence that it looked like this one:

@Loli_Omamoritai : No, and that is an exaggeration. This is closer to leaving someone in a position when there are better fits avaliable, since that would require retraining while you can just hire a new grad to fill that position for much cheaper.

Cost minimizing is not sign aof a black company, it just means capitalist. Black companies overwork their employees with forced (often unpaid which is illegal) overtime.

"This grown-up woman looks like a thin, feeble little girl because she is a descendant of buff, hairy, beardy folks that cannot possibly be mistaken for children. Yeah, that totally makes sense"

I feel like there are better ways to make cute dwarves but I won't complain too much about a lolibaba.

@Rgal @immortalartisan : probably got a mix of traits, and women do not develop muscle in the same way as men do. Plus not every series has dwarf women being hairy and bearded (though some do). Short + female build + low body fat (little to no breasts) would look very child like to most people. Plus the dwarf part likely means she ages slower, so her 20 might only be 10-12 physically

@sjmcc13 look at my pfp I’m sorry if you don’t have a beard for any remotely related dwarf character even if it’s just a small bit then that’s just lazy. Though I get your point I’m just offended by this use of dwarfs
