It's more than that. A lot of manga will sort of keep the swapped as a girl for reasons other than the author "simply wanting them to be a girl and also dating a girl -- ergo yuri." It's more like, if they could figure out a way to make them both "a straight couple" while also "keeping the swapped swapped" and also not turning the girl into a boy (because that's icky, to some), they probably would. So, a number of TS manga will end on a very ambiguous note of "the boy might swap back to being a boy one day, either temporarily or permanently, for any number of reasons, including possibly so that he might father a child with his lover." Tensei Pandemic did this (though don't get me wrong -- it still ended yuri enough for my tastes and I was happy with it overall -- but it still could've ended even more to my tastes). Ayakashi Triangle did this (I think? I haven't finished reading it but I seem to recall hearing about it). It's very rarely ever okay in the eyes of TS manga for a swapped boy to just be a girl and love a girl and have that simply be the end-all-be-all of it. There's always some nagging downside to it or implication that some further gender rearrangement might be "necessary" for the couple's happiness or future plans or whatever. In other words, the yuri is often incidental, "functional," or simply "how it has to be," rather than the author specifically liking it.

Ayakashi Triangle ended with Matsuri going "I'm going to stay a girl" and "I'm not ready to date you as a boy, but if you'll have me as a girl". Which is just so ambiguous enough for plausible deniability but at the same time obvious enough to readers that the mangaka was playing the long con for the tg yuri ending.

At first I didn't know how the author will end this, but this is solid ending. There are conflicts and they concluded them in the story. Not many mangakas can make the conclusion in their stories, especially when the got axed. The pacing are good too.

I didn't hate the ID crises of "I'm a boy who turns into a girl who likes girls but am falling in love with my male best friend"

However, said male best friend also turned into a girl and then not being able to go back, but then wait, theirs more now the other boy can't turn back ethier!

If you want to write a Yuri story fine but don't force it, it was fine as was.

Thought the medical/conspiracy side could have been focused on more, but the Yuri most definitely got in the way of that.

I don't understand why people call Yuri a neich ending. It has become so common. It might as well be in the most common category.
Why? Because there is nothing to learn from being a girl. Girls are perfect in 2020s. Nothing wrong.

It's the boys who are the ick. This is why no TG manga has ever ended with a girl learning to be a boy and accepting it... actually there is one but she/he were a Secondary character, a love interest candidate who turned into a boy for a job as a baseball player.

We live in a world where masculinity is assaulted on all sides by the ick club.

What is "The law of pairs"? I don't know. It's another thing the author pulled out if their cake in the last 3 chapter.

"Boys are fascinate of the girl bodies" lol... the author says this after the only boy-ish boy in the manga forcefully became a girl by accident...

I will tell you what: if "boys were as fascinated by the girl bodies" was applied to lesbians. Then we would never see a lesbians relationship in the world.

If there was a thread of masculinity in this manga, I gurantee you there would be more relationships in that school before fixfication, after it and anytime during the school year.

Also I support this. Honestly if people can switch their gender at will. I would support it. Women can finally work some manual labor jobs and men can finally work as teachers or nurses without it looking creepy.

Bruh. The support for folks living how they want is great, but why is it rooted in profound sexism?

Women DO work labor jobs. It's just hard for them to get hired because sexism and they face a lot of harassment at the job because sexism.

Teaching was a traditionally male job until very recently in history.

Why the fuck can't a man be a nurse?
