As a few others have said in this thread, though - MC didn't want to be a girl because "I don't feel right as a boy", but to satisfy a particular fetish in a specific way.

That...doesn't sound the same as "I'm in the wrong body" in a gender identity sense.

I'd argue that the argument for MC being trans would be stronger, if MC made strides in that first life toward becoming a woman, rather than dying, incidentally reincarnating as a woman, and capitalizing on it from there.

Though not because being a girl on the inside already, but for the hedonistic purpose of being a NTR heroine

People generally don't put up with life as the opposite gender for over a decade just for the sake of a fetish; especially considering that she applied herself to sports, beauty, and Lord knows what else (I'm sure we'll find out before long) to become the perfect woman and Yuu-kun's girlfriend-to-be(-stolen).

I think one way her scheme might fall apart is that all the people she's setting up might just turn out to be decent folks. Right now it doesn't even feel like NTR, she's just emotionally manipulating people so they'd compete for her affection. She's like an evil/ self-aware version of a harem manga protagonist.

when you say "put up with life...for over a decade", do you mean pre-reincarnation, or post-reincarnation?

Because pre-reincarnation, the MC's wish to "be a girl" was because MC envisioned that "True NTR Nirvana" could only be achieved from the girl's perspective (i.e. "the one stolen", versus "the one stealing").
Once Reiko was (re)born, she realized she can now live out that optimal NTR experience that she'd envisioned in her previous life, but couldn't obtain. All of that "applying to sports, beauty, etc" is in pursuit of becoming the best possible girl for Yuu-kun, so that when she inevitably gets her wish and NTRs him with someone else, it'd be that much worse.
She's not "putting up with it", it's simply entirely part of her plan to achieve her Ultimate NTR Experience.

Maybe I misunderstood what you were getting at - but my original point is that there's a difference between wanting to be the "other gender" because you don't feel "correct" in your current iteration, and there's what Reiko's doing, which is wanting to be a girl because her specific fetish experience would be heightened from "the girl's perspective".

And those feel like very distinct sentiments from one another. Not mutually exclusive, sure - but we only get the MC's sentiment toward the latter, and never the former.

Though given the name nomenclature and the insane levels of meta-awareness, I guess that's par for the course, really.

Yuu-kun being a "pretty boy", and the fact that I sorta suspect this will be a big deconstruction & subversion of the NTR trope, has me wondering if Reika isn't going to end up being cucked in a titanic game of Universe-ordained Reverse Uno.
At least, something seems like it has to subvert the expected plot, because if the series really is just Reika meticulously putting together the Ultimate NTR Plot over the course of a decade's worth of work factoring in time, place, a whole cast of unwitting participants, and more - just seems like it'd feel...anticlimactic.
Unless she really does end up dying and reincarnating again, to do it all over (whether she succeeds or not), but at that point it's just an anthology of different NTR scenarios played out in self-aware fashion, which doesn't strike me as particularly compelling, without any "twist" on the formula.

I do look forward to finding out, though.
