It's either the police is retarded, or there's more details that we have no way of knowing yet

Why is the police acting so stupidly obtuse? What do you get with threatening the only link between the cases?

I call bullshit for several reasons:

1) Murai should be dead as fuck. He had major injuries on the back of his head, where the most vital parts of the brain (Medulla, Pons, Cerebellum, etc.) and is shown with a fuck ton of blood coming from the front of his face. It then takes several minutes for the authorities to be alerted when he's in this state. Granted, they do a dummy move by not checking his pulse, but lying face-down is probably going to restrict your airflow somewhat.

2) How the fuck did MC get crippled but the girl IN FRONT of him in the head-on collision get out with only minor injuries? This doesn't make much sense considering the impact should have reduced amount of force he faced from behind. I hope it gets explained that like she jumped off the bike or had protective gear or some shit, because this is just dumb.

3) It's really convenient that Shiiki just so happens to show up just as MC is about to tell the Police Officer about Tsubasa. Hell, even if he did, it probably would be the best outcome as he'd go into witness protection. The worst they could get him with was incitement to violence, but he didn't do it intentionally-nor would anyone really give him such a strict sentence for what he thought was just a hypothetical-and he'd probably willingly take that hit because it not only means that his friends wouldn't be killed off, but that the police could use their resources to hunt down Tsubasa.
4)How the fuck does knowing someone connected to another incident signify that you were involved in a homicide? Do police officers know of guilt by association? It's like saying "my friend managed to get out of the twin towers on 9/11," and "I'm related to someone who is involved in a murder" somehow means "I'm guilty for homicide." The officer has some screws loose, it seems.

Side note but last chapter he grabbed MC and picked him up by his collar. Why?! He's already hospitalized in a wheelchair. It's just gonna draw suspicion onto yourself and get your ass accused of police brutality. There's no need to intimidate him like that when he's already crippled. There's nothing he can do and you are already in a position of physical superiority over him

Ok so MC is related to past case. Still makes no sense why the police is hell-bent on a little kid being the mastermind tho

Another typical stupid hot headed police. Being an asshole and threaten the mc for no reason. How unprofessional can you be?

Btw, this whole situation could have been avoided, if the mc had shown the picture to the police right at the beginning, you know, like any normal person would do when they think they are followed by a murderer?

@Tamerlane You don't need a very deep analysis to realize that this is bs. You have a small & weak girl being able to magically kill everyone she wants without ever getting caught or any unforseen circumstances.

So many questions are being raised but so little are getting answered, also a reminder that japan has an insane conviction rate, once you're the prime suspect you will be coerced into confessing a crime you didn't commit

Nah, I can buy that part more because she seems to have the element of surprise and uses a variety of methods, which would make detection and keeping track of various homicides difficult.

And if it IS multiple people as it's implied to be, then I could see why getting DNA evidence or connecting the murders would be difficult. Still, he should have informed the police. It's a dumb move not to. @criver
