I kind of understand the beef with the of hero, buuut I still don't like you

old hero doesnt seem all that heroic, those eyes arent rage, sadness, or resignation to one's fate, they're more like a void of nothingness like he's lost everything and just forcing himself forward.. if that other side of him is the hero's soul taking over or some remnant of it, it feels like there's a lot more to his story than just trying to stop the demon lord/king and failing. plus with plant guy's comment at the end and how mysterious hecate is. there is like a crapton of mysteries rolling together. the only one that seems simple before you get to the why is it seems hecate was on the other side and switched sides for some reason.
