And technically speaking they aren't siblings in the human sense, they sublimated as Tsukumogami in the same household and together with the dice girl, that unfortunately has been killed centuries ago, they treated each other as siblings but she seems to love him more in man/woman sense, he on the other hand only think of her as a little sister ( i have a suspicion he loved the dice girl, but this is only a thing in my head i don't think it was ever really hinted, i think he is more the dense type than anything ).

That is really relative, going by normal logic it would be no, theoretically yes... and no.

Kazuya created Azami with more care than most but she was born really fast if you look to how Tsukumogamis are born after at least 2-3 generations exposed to the collective energy of the family they sublimate with an already formed personality, because they took a natural time to develop, but with Azami, Kazuya didn't put evil thoughts but she was made to quickly and doesn't have the mind resistance this is why she fused with the residual energy of Kanata's old uniform then got crazy and possessed Kanata. Until here things are relatively clear, but when you think the details things get complicated.

Azami should be an Amasogi but Kazuya could make her as a Tsukumogami because he has enormous reserves of energy, sure she was close to Tsuku than Amasogi but she was incomplete, she lacked the mind security that other Tsukus have because Kazuya made her too quickly and because in the center of this all it was Kazuya's strong desire to make his mom wish come true, this is only one step behind the obsessive thinking that generally makes Amasogis, because of all this when Azami came in contact with the Amasogi made using Kanata's uniform they resonated because then the uniform was charged with Kazuya energy and his murderous intent plus Kanata's dark energy ( because of her complicated state ) then it possessed Kanata hat already had her own set of problems mentally and spiritually ( i don't think she was evil, she did work to keep her dark side under control, i respect that ) which made the situation even worse.

I need to mention a little forgotten fact too, Kazuya power isn't all-natural, let's say that he really is naturally talented but his energy reserve is caused by possession ( the strongest theory is that it is cursed energy from the goddess killed by Mayoiga ) so all this shit show has another power, that isn't known by the involved, this aggravates things because it is an unknown factor and even if Kazuya manages to name Azami officially we don't know if the many powers in play will let the naming have an effect.

Tl;DR I don't have the slightest clue XD.

Actually it was hinted back then in chapter 56 "Love Backgammon Quiz", page 25 where the dice is in the separate frame. It's even more obvious in the respective anime episode where Arumi takes a long look at the dice before answering the question about the woman Akito likes the most.

@FlamingSquirrel I can understand you, but part of me thinks it would be better if Azami ( the two of them ) and Kanata died for good, it would be a better closure ( to me at least ) and the necessary steps to some way keep them alive would be incredibly convoluted, anyway, we can only wait and see.

Oh and i forgot to mention that Azami and co need to be killed by Kazuya because of the curse backlash and we don't know how the dynamics of this thing work, maybe this could be the details to change all, but i hope it is carefully dealt with and not just something the pull form the devil's ass in the last moment.
