It is pretty obvious how Oriobana will die... the tattoo fucker must be able to take control of the people he tattoos, they are Ouhi's students and she has a soft spot for them, they will attack she won't defend well, maybe they kill her or the fucker takes the opportunity of the opening.

Well, the functions of the SD and this Shell are different, the soul shrine here is much more limited, you need to touch your opponent and it seems the mechanics demand that the conjurer gives the entrapped person more leeway even if at a disadvantage.

And the shell needs tight timing to work.

DE gives the conjurer total advantage without restrictions besides energy consumption, when open a domain is a win button.... well, not really as we have seen, but all those times either were against someone vastly stronger than the conjurer or the entrapped people escaped by the skin of their teeth.

SD doesn't really cancel the domain as much as simply disables one function of it, the sure-hit effect, and can be recast as much as the conjurer wants... as long as they don't die first.
