An antagonist built around rape, going around raping characters wasn't present for the first 100 chapters. There was more or less a 'villain of the week'; now we're at rapist of the week. Most people can probably live with "what-if" scenarios, random drawings, or even close calls; not so much when the author shifts it into the canon.
It is perfectly normal to get annoyed at something you like when something undesirable happens...or keeps happening in this case.
