That pile of spent potions looks so silly, yet the characters treat it like a serious sacrifice for her sake. The mood is just off.
Has me thinking of ye olde Ragnarok Online, where it was pretty standard to walk around with 99 red potions bound to a hotkey while farming trash mobs. 3960 zenny for an entire stack. For comparison, a single highest grade potion (white, which was about 10 times as strong, which is what you needed if something dangerous showed up) would cost as much as an entire stack of red potions.
I think, at the very least, that pile of potions cost more money than the fox girl could even possibly possess at her level.
But yeah, the sheer number
is goofy. Those bottles aren't small. Are the potions really weak, or was she so badly hurt that it took dozens just to bring her back to positive HP? Did he seriously give her
gallons of potion?
Edit: Checking the web-novel - he burned through so many potions because she was covered in bleeding wounds, and he was applying bandages soaked in healing potion. Drinking is much more effective, but since she was unconscious he could only give her a little at a time and mainly relied on the bandages.
