Hmm, I'm surprised his steal skill is actually properly usable. I had expected it would only work on under-leveled people, but he can use it on monsters to steal skills that strong, so doesn't really seem limited; even if it was only because the monster couldn't resist being dead, thats still any enemy you can defeat that you can take the power from. Another possibility I was thinking of was that maybe he also couldn't level stolen skills, and potentially had to eat duplicates to level them, but even if that comes true, if hes stealing from monsters with the skills starting at that level, shouldn't really be a problem.

I gotta say. It doesn't feel great that the original party gets to have their happily end with the protagonist when they were clearly being extremely abusive up until he showed he was useful. By the tropes of this sort of story, there should be true party-and-probably-harem members who genuinely support him.

I guess the MC might end up partying with them instead as he resolves their problems in the protagonist's place.

Yeah, if anyone wants to fight him, he could just steal their skills. There has to be some conditions to it 🤔

It was a nice begining almost a twist in a very used (more than a prostitute) plot Do we really need for the MC to be overpower? Of course he now will "take the place" of Cain, with the anime heroines, heck, even Cain may now become a dick. Can´t we have more goblin slayer like character (not in personality)? Worth his weight but obviously no like the hero, doing "side quest" meanwhile the hero complete the story

as expected, the heroine for the original mc (cain) fallen for this mc now, since cain already deviated from his original path, mc took the role of saving the heroine from their demise
and not suprisingly, cain become bad person or even worse than mc previously (complete with the spiky hair lmao), since it later revealed that its the party member fault who keep making criminal stuff (also turn cain into evulz), and they are the one who previously keep egging mc to do bad stuff (he is bad person before, but its the party member who make him do worse thing)

Well, apparently the protag has some epic rank ability, so I assumed there's some sort of hierarchy thing going on.

Those monsters are probably lower level then him. I doubt it would work on high level monsters.

Maybe unique skills can't be stolen? Only generic. I'll assume racial skill is unstealable as wel, as it's natural.

But half of the time they dont and just magic it or something.

Like a tail attack still being usable because reasons.
