Hmm, so the character names are all derived from colors. Kuro (Black), Violet, Gray and Vermillion. Not very creative, but somewhat believable.

Seems Lady Violet isn't wasting any time in the bedroom, but given that they've only met and are practically strangers, I wonder just how much of that is her forcing herself? I'd be willing to believe she's probably still broken at this point in time given she's just been exiled and has just lost everything, including the right to use her family's name.

We don't notice much from his POV aside from "wow, sudden hot teen wife!", but considering things from her POV, she has just reached rock bottom and is probably surrendering to her (perceived) fate. I'm no fan of "weak male leads", but I'll give him a pass if he refuses her here.

Saying no in this case isn't weakness, because taking advantage of people at the lowest point of their lives is not love.

I kinda dropped it because the story was sooooo slow and focus too much on the other characters instead of our main MC and FMC.
Our boy here has wide variety of followers that author tend to focus too much about their quirks and circumstances.
I will probably give it a go again after the manga release a few more chapters so I can get into the WN properly

I just want to add as a proper wn reader that most of those characters are very interesting. Both MC and FMC are very likeable and their relationship is developing surely.

Look at her facial expressions in every panel after MC brings up getting the bath ready: resignation (possibly also depression). If things went according to the plot the MC laid out, she was just humiliated in public and then disowned, exiled, and sold into marriage to someone regarded as a deviant.

She feels as if she has no choice but to accept his advances (which he hasn't made), because she has no money, no allies, and nowhere else to go; she believes that if he decides to use her like a fuck doll and then lock her in a servant's room until he wants another go, she can't complain or object.

That is not the kind of mindset that is capable of consenting to, well, anything, because it's literal coercion; it doesn't matter how "willing" she appears to be, she cannot consent to sex under the belief that something negative will happen to her if she doesn't.

That would make a rejection reasonable.....but this kind of bait feels overplayed in manga and I feel that is more demeaning toward the characters...let's see how is played out.

I would say it is 100% her forcing herself. He suggested she take a shower, of all things. It may not be a common thing in the west prior to sex, but in Japan it's almost a requirement, and if she is expecting a 'pervert noble' and heard that almost as soon as she met him, she may have taken it as "prepare yourself for sex right now."

Of course, since we can already see that he didn't mean it that way, I expect he won't follow through (and I'm sure there will be commenters here who will be angry, because it's either instant sex or "beta protag" with these people), and I hope he doesn't, because I agree with you.
