I came here to moan about how the second chapter doesn't even progress to the same point of the first, being 100% flashback... But then I read Monn12's novel reviews and feel like dropping the whole thing. Just another example of how messed up Japan is.

Nothing to do with Japan, there are weird and bad authors everywhere it's just Japan gives them a lot more opportunities to publish their wacky stuff and disappoint innocent readers.

It's a story about outcasts living in a back-end town. If you are just some surface-level COVID jumpers, this isn't a good start for you. It's mostly crude comedy with a really slow romance. The updates here are dead, so you either just go read the novel or watch the youtube one. It's not really that bad, like the ball hanger claims it to be.
