Dude i don't think he even cares about that. The MC barely reacts seeing some innocent party getting murked right infront of him, just mildy surprised. He's nice enough to bury them for sure, but he's not exactly someone with a strong moral compass.

I think any normal person who can't fight would react that way too instead of condemning the wrongdoers right then and there. Protag just got his equips incinerated and the swordmaster girl is too scared too fight, she even put away all of her gear and disguise. They're in no condition to fight so arising conflict right away just spells death for them. MC does have a visible sweat drop when the saw the other adventurers got cut down implying he does feel something like pity, annoyed, sorrow (unlikely), or endangered (very unlikely). But still you're right that he might not be the most righteous person 😂
