Really, he tried to run to leave 3 people to what he thought was certain death then 10 seconds later he puts his life on the line to save one person? Ridiculous. Not every character has to be redeemed.

This reminds me of TERA again, the archer class there has a Feign Death skill too, although the effect in that one is to drop monster aggro (and an i-frame too if certain points are invested into the skill).

If it drops aggro, it seems like a pretty great safeguard against your ranged DPS getting caught. Pretty much an extra life with good management.
