Cool seeing Celt come around after reading this arc in the WN, him and Maybell are definitely great supporting cast. I like their back and forth sniping.

This seems to be a theme up until the current WN where party members drop in and out with the core membership being Elma and Luce (naturally), next two up are fun in their own way, but the OGs will meet up again soon-ish for another arc.

Yup, it's the law of detail conservation. There'd be no reason to have all this attention on the master, including introducing his apprentice, if he didn't have anything to do with the situation.

Predicable, but ironically, if it turns out that he isn't involved and it was just a red herring, that would just be bad writing since all this set up would be for nothing. Unless the writer manages to surprise me, but the plot has been super straightforward up to this point.

Not to mention his enthusiasm about the whole thing. My guess is that he killed the other 6 to help create the skull lord.

I don't remember if the MC mentioned about the possibility of a nefarious group potentially being behind this. We the readers and the MC know but it is suspicious that anyone else would immediately bring it up as if it was common knowledge.

The problem with dungeons and overflow is already somewhat known (at least at high level manager level). The local GM has talked about it, and Kalos is going around and investigating the problem. If there's an unnatural occurrence, then it's reasonable to think that some one or some group is behind it.

I think the suspicion points for Kalos are:

• Is high level and can probably pull something like this off.
• "The fire investigator is the arsonist!" reasoning.
• And she's doing her investigation solo.
• Throwing dirt at other possible suspects.

Reasons not to suspect her:

• Seems pretty innocuous.
• Is concerned for and caring of Hilde.
• Is flat chested. Flat chested chicks are envious, not crazy malevolent.
• Author might be throwing a red herring.
• There might be some other nefarious/hidden group around.
