Luce is the most boring part for me. I can understand the mc being straight laced and boring, it also works very well with his design. So you would think that pairing a straight laced no nonsense knight with a clown would give us interesting and funny dialogue, but no. She is a fuckin clown make her hilarious as a character trait. Seriously Elma needs someone to bounce off with. Celt and Maybell did a better job at this than Luce in way shorter of a time.

Getting to the latest chapter (ch. 96) pretty much cements the reason why I like this manga so much. Luce went through a huge amount of character development to a point that just looking at her back-to-back with Elma told me everything I needed to know about the shift in their character dynamics.

She went from someone who needed babysitting to someone Elma's confident to leave his back to.

Seriously, not a lot of isekai manga can boast this - characters that aren't the MC getting developed and actually shine in their own ways.

The main part I like about this isekai is that the MC is not too overpowered to the point where his teammates looks like very distant side character, each character have their roles to play in fights as well as the monster all of different danger to them like the newest mermaid is more of a debuff ambusher type of character who almost single handedly wipe out the group

It's not a GREAT story, but I do like this manga. The art is interesting and the designs are eye-catching, the characters are all unique and fun to follow, and even though it is Everything You've Seen Before, it feels coherent in a way that not a lot of these isekai stories do. Elma's game knowledge doesn't allow for him to be OP right from the get-go, it just gives him a slight advantage that he capitalizes on by seeking out a well-rounded party and caring about their progress as well as his own. He's strait-laced in a way that feels refreshing rather than being an ignorant or arrogant OP MC. I love that the female characters have interesting designs and seem to be actual characters rather than Potential Love Interests. There's a glorious lack of anything Romance related, in fact.

Yeah, I like this one. Defense-oriented MC’s are rarer than healer MC’s, so it’s nice to see this plus actual skill tree systems happening. The art is pretty good and the designs for things aren’t so outlandish, but even the random crazy looking ones aren’t too ridiculous. To echo what people above had said, it’s cool that the MC is so ridiculously overpowered that he makes his party irrelevant. He is reliant on his team for crucial moves and it’s good to see.

IIRC that studio made a good adaptation of the Cat who takes care of his master. They focus more on shoujo-art, so expect men to be slender and the girls stick thin with almost no boobs except when wearing bikinis.

This manga is the definition of "mediocre".Mc is boring as fuck,the story is repetitive.Every 10 chapters some new cocky character makes fun of him and in the next chapter he whoops their ass,that's not a cool character that's boring as fuck.
