Bile Fascination made me bing this ... honestly I read much worse really. This do feels like some Amateur work that added a bunch of unfortunate implications, which I believe really where by accident and lack of experience. It's not the worst "one and done" read in my opinion compared to some other crap that severely overstays it's welcome.

Yup it's def a 6/10, LN Is a 7/10. People are too hung up on what happened to Est.

People act like this is the worst writing but this is basically what a banished from hero party story is when the other side aren't trying to be total assholes. Just not that exciting because they're not super OP super cool MC with a slave harem that gagas over anything he says or does. Like just now there's a manga on the front page that is exactly like but from the original kicked party members side. It's insane how you people missed that. I bet people over there are going to defend the girl in that story unlike Athena or Daru here even though they're no different.

Or they're trying to balance out the Vote Bombing campaign of 1-star votes. This isn't very good (I gave it a 6, boosted partly for the aforementioned reason) but it is NOT a 1-star manga. People who think it is have never encountered the really shitty manga. I've never voted anything a 1, but if something's so bad that I want to drop it after Ch 1 I usually don't rate it because you need to give something several chapters before you should rate it.

This story is medium execution, but it's exactly what it claims to be; I mean, it's a perfect example of a "hero's banishment" trope from a different angle.

Sure, it isn't classical literature, but it does exactly what it claims to do!

I think the One Star ratings are from people who've never broken up with a girl/boyfriend; this is exactly the shit that happens, bringing things in to work, and having trouble with unrelated acquaintances, and jealousy, and, and, and....

This title has been a great read, and a very enjoyable waste of time.

9/10 it knows what it is, and delivers.
