also
the comment by @blablablub on chapter 112 (#22)
I see the weird blue tint has taken another manga victim. Is that some artifact from AI upscaling or redrawing or the likes?
is real.Everyone else gave confused reactions to his comment lol, they were correct, this person has top tier eyes or a very good color accurate display!

i used to denoise raws using waifu2xgui and a loaned dataserver gpu.
but that wasnt the problem, i was new in ps and auto changed all the images to CMYK color format to use the genfill tool of ps since gen remove wasnt working properly for some texts and genfill didnt work in the raw greyscale format. So when i compared them yes, the cmyk images had blue tint but i did try to fix this by just cropping the cleaned background only! Nice of them to catch it.

I vote no. They stick out in a bad way, and we have enough context that we don't really need all the subtleties they convey. I generally only find them alright when they are used in a Japanese-speaking environment, anywhere else is just weird and appropriate equivalents should be used when possible.
Also: Congrats on ditching Adobe :aquadrink:
'japanese speaking environment' huh

you make me wonder if there actually were any japanese authors that completely dropped using japanese only honorifics because their story is in a non japanese setting.

Like western authors don't include inaccuracies in their stories.... please don't start butchering translations like official works do. I tend to consider official translations the death of a series.
