Thanks for the new chapter!

NGL, there are few action the past few chapters but it really was a battle of wits.
The bit about Blight-sensei was just brutal. Like he was given the mercy of not remembering his torture earlier, but then it was returned to him and that scarred him even more, only to realize he is about to be offed for real. If ever he reincarnates, he'll probably remember that all throughout his next life.

Also funny for Rona to still underestimate Makoto. She still lacks the imagination to even consider that all the personalities around Makoto are not just acquaintances and/or 'employees' but rather direct servants. Well, they did not know yet that he took down MItsurugi and his adventurer companion singlehandedly. Really, no wonder she lost this battle of wits agains Shiki.
To be fair, who would expect a merchant/part-time magic instructor to be someone capable of putting a lich known to be extraordinarily powerful under a servant contract and actually had to be actively WEAKENED so he didn't just flat out absorb him.

She's working off incomplete information and intentional misinformation and in any other circumstances, she'd probably be a lot closer to the mark than here.

Reminder that they had to artificially BOOST Shiki's powerlevel in order for him not to end up a brainless shell due to uneven contract not in his favor. So the guy's even more powerful than the last time she saw him, and she doesn't even know.

Lime's feeling about Rona is how I feel about the mangaka: they rushed so much.

I'm a bit confused whether MC receiving the spell for demon telepathy was actually part of Shiki's plan or not.

I suspect it was that she would give it as some payment or enticement to be better allies.

MC really be scary when his switch is flipped!! :meguupog: Never anger the nicest people frfr :worry:

Low key I think Kuzunoha is some degree of psychopath but not the "Lulz Evil" type, instead he's the kind that's fiercely defensive of his friends even though he has a hard time connecting with them beyond that.

Also explains why he didn't "Hit That" both on Earth and here even when girls clearly were coming onto him. He isn't a chaste hero, he just "doesn't get it" although he understands when Mio and Tomoe are on top of him what they're intending.

"He knew about Sofia and Mitsurugi even though only people at the battle should know!"

Take a break here, I'm not gonna say any amazing upcoming plot nor any hidden messages readers might've passed,

I just want to say I love Shiki's character, no specific reason

He was a massive douchebag, but yes, he is very helpful to the crew now. And it seem like the only one to not mind twisting arms to get what the crew needs (sometimes literally), which is good sometimes. And also smart and knowledgeable to boot.

On earth I think it was a lack of confidence. The girls coming on to him were the school beauties. If he didn't think they could be attracted to him his mind wouldn't go there.

As for Mio and Tomoe he told them he sees them like he saw his sisters. Those two have to get out of the sister zone.

Check the panel where he is looking at the paper she gave him and see the hands going around his head. I think he is the one that got played.

I feel like that panel is him imagining how utterly he would be dancing to her tune if her didn't have good backup like Shiki.

The funniest part though is that Shiki is the weakest of all his servants

I forgot they were boosting Shiki in addition to using everything they could to weaken Makoto.

I think he's a "high functioning psychopath". He knows the right vs wrong he was taught by family & modern Japanese society, but it doesn't bother him when he ignores it and ends someone. Other than sometimes when he thinks he should care and is bothered that he doesn't.

And he shows some regrets, like how he treated the girl crushing on him and his weakness in that moment. He also loves his sisters as going to this world was because he didn't want them to do it.

Right it isn't like, the "Pop-Media" framing of Psychopathy - more like the clinical definition of another spectrum of "symptoms" I'm talking about.

Girl Hero Summon is an almost stereotypical normal person, and Weeb Male Hero Summon is a full on insecure narcissist.

It's neat how people are starting to peg Makoto as not quite right in the head, since that's a fundamental thing to his character. It makes it much more neat when the priestess looks at Makoto and goes, "Oh dear, that boy just ain't right."
