Honestly did not like how the sisters ended up currently in WN.
Still hope the LN and manga changes these parts.

Yeah it was pretty anti-climactic. I have to assume it was longer in the novel but for some reason they cut it short for the manga. Maybe it was considered too boring? I can't imagine how that could be since we've had entire chapters of people doing nothing but talk but who knows.
It was even less in WN, probably a couple sentences how they destroyed some nefarious group in Academy and that Blight-sensei was the culprit.

So they really built up a nothing burger for the sake of it, huh? Kinda crazy.

I felt like I missed something, and read the last chapter again from a month ago.

With how much they were building up that corrupt teacher (Blight-sensei), they basically off-screened his capture after he put a hit on Kuzunoha with the assassin guild and just showed the interrogation scene this chapter instead which is a bit of strange jump.

Like why even add the random suspense scene last chapter if you're just gonna skip it all anyway?

because there was really not much to show with how outclassed the poor fucker was, unless you wanted a filler chapter of a bunch of mooks getting pasted by Gods.

the spy vs spy games with Rona were more relevant and interesting.

I know she's just trying to mess with his head, but it's hilarious how far she went without knowing that Shiki literally could not be disloyal if he wanted to.
I don't think she actually knows that Shiki is in a servant contract, and probably underestimates Makoto in how powerful he really is. It's gonna be fun seeing his interaction with the Demon Lord.

Someone please give Eris her bananas.

Blight learns firsthand the true horrors of going up against the Kuzunoha company. He had a bit of common ground with Makoto about the goddess, but in the end the dude was just a lesser version of her who also forsakes people based on his own twisted beliefs. He and his group met a horrible end there.

I like how both Shiki and Rona are sly, cunning characters engaging in mind games, only that Shiki was always at least a step or two ahead of her. Still, Rona was smart enough to eventually figure it out. But again she seems to be outplayed with that entire sequence of Makoto having to pretend all the things he's hearing from her to be things he didn't know. Still not sure if she gave Makoto what he and Shiki really wanted, or if that note could turn out to be something more like a prank as payback for having been outwitted before.

All those female students wanting to be his 3rd wife are on the prowl again. I wonder why. If he makes the same bluff of only accepting 1st and 2nd wives would it still be effective? But it seems to me the Rembrandt sisters are ready to gatekeep these other girls away for him.

In the WN they just offhandedly talk about it in retrospect. When reading it I thought I missed a chapter but I think It was in one of the skipped side chapters. So if it was talked about in detail it was only about 1-2 chapters of content to start with. This whole thing really is just one big side quest to the main story arc.

For your very last sentence,
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!

They basically use their own bad reputations to PERMANENTLY put an end to those female students chasing him.
