Not that I would blame him if he did, since every hyuman character we meet has some dark past where they were complete and total dbags.

Yeah, Tomoe's loyalty is unquestionable, but her methods kind of are. There are probably more than a few times where she's done something that Makoto wouldn't like or approve of. Of these, he either lets it go because he's lenient on her, attributes it to her hobby, or doesn't know.

What's the point of the romance tag if it never happens, then... don't really get that. I agree with Kronix. I don't want or need a hentai, but I do want actual progress on a relationship from when it says "harem" and "romance" in the genre tags.

@LysandersTreason If I'm understanding correctly, the tags are somewhat premature, as no romance or harem really starts until much later. Although I haven't read the WN/LN myself so I might be misunderstanding but, I don't think those tags are important until then, unless you wanna count Mio and Tomoe.

shit like fact about tomato is a fruit or veggie doesn't have any significance to the plot, so just chill out, people...
when romance tag is added, it does NOT mean that the actual romantic-touchy-feely situations or events HAS to happen RIGHT NOW in the main story...
be it sooner or later, it doesn't really matter as long as there is a scene involving of romance, whether if it is in the main story or just treated as a background story...
the FACT that some romantic events are happened is a FACT indeed; no matter how trivial or significant, short or detailed, and thats why the romance tag is valid, its just that simple... people seemed to overlooked this matter and tried to justifying themselves into an arrogant all-knowing-and-demanding sob...

premature? if some romantic scenes were introduced right bat-off from the beginning of story, then this manga should have 'shoujo' tag added since its release on the first chapter...
there is some harem-inducing and makoto's romancing saga scene back at ch.29 in case you forgot, also you might re-read early ch.4 for early romance/romantic events references
