HAHAHAHAHA I see now, I see, I get it now. MC love life is a fucking joke, that’s what the author want to convey. Damn it, I just realized it now at chapter 37, even if the hints are already foreshadowed since the beginning (at chapter 4). He's blessed with many beautiful woman who wanted to be his lover, who steeled their courage to confess, but he turn them all down just because he don’t really see them that way, and that’s the joke. Typical dense MC behavior. That is the joke from the author! Look at his regret in this chapter, back then he actually didn’t view them that way, but now he regret it and change his mind. The guilty haunting him even until now in another world. That's the joke!
Wow, this moment of clarity really enlighten me and I can view this manga in different perspective now. From the start I was hoping that he can find suitable woman or have romantic relationship with any of those beautiful woman. Just pick one or take them all, make a goddamn choice and be a man, don’t tease me, don’t blue balling me, no need for sexual intercourse, just a simple romantic relationship is enough. Maybe the biggest mistake is I expecting too much. Why I expecting romantic relationship? It's because the damn author teasing about it many times! But now I can turn off that possibility because it'll never happen thanks to this chapter. Now I can focus on "the people and the world around him", the consequences based on his actions and decisions. His daily life of adventuring and managing his company. No more expectations on romance anymore even if the author keep teasing about it.
I can already guess what will happen in the next chapter. It's obvious. No shit, Sherlock!
