the dreams makoto was having werent just dreams but a view into alternate timelines. When the goddess stole the other two heroes from earth it caused alternate timelines to form and the earth god's that went to bug goddess' world were then tasked with punishing her and destroying each alternate timeline that formed because the two stolen earth heroes were there.

dream 1) makoto destroys lorell union and is in love with tomoki's princess( i think it's said she has died during this time line) . He kills tomoki because he believes killing the other heroes will force the bug goddess to show up to stop him and if that doesn't work he vowed to keep wiping out countries and until she does.

dream 2) makoto becomes the demon lord and zef (demon lord in current timeline) is his 3rd companion instead of shiki. Makoto is clearly romantically involved with tomoe in this timeline since they kiss. Both tomoe and mio die in this time line

dream 3) Makoto is an edgelord/murder hobo, vows to kill everyone he comes across including women and children.

Humans from earth (Ningen) has too high of a standard then, even if everything revolves around the power of the mind & the heart. That's why in the Isekai genre, people from other worlds/dimensions always summon humans to aid them. We have superior knowledge as well because we imagine, think about & create all sorts of things.

Thanks for the chapter!
Those humans are definitely followers of that stupid goddess. It's not like they attacked the forest ogres either so why should the MC do so just because they said so? Also, claiming all the ambrosia and planning on taking it all despite getting there last? Furthermore, are being fed and cared for with a place to sleep for free without worrying about monsters and not only are they ungrateful, but are planning on stealing everything they can carry like they have a right to? As for blackmailing the MC, they're forgetting that they have no proof of his supposed wrongdoings and they're assuming they'd be able to get to town and tell someone instead of being killed or incarcerated. Especially since have no way back without MC or Tomoe or Mio opening the way. Guess it's to be expected with such a corrupt goddess in charge of the world.

These forest ogres are pretty evil, murder-happy monsters. But, of course, they won't be treated that way because Beta Cuck Asian MC.

Seriously, those forest ogres are absolutely EVIL. He should kill them. Or better yet, turn them into trees and find a way to free those people. "Caused trouble in the forest." Bullshit! They already proved that merely being in the forest is the only reason they need. It's literally why they tried to do it to the MC and when that failed, tried to murder him.

So far as we are aware, NONE of those people turned into trees ever deserved it in any way. The ogres' targeting of the MC makes that extremely likely.

They're so bad that he's even worried about the adventurers and what ogres he allows into his dimension meeting. These sorry excuses for people are so bad that he can't let them interact with others. And that's the ones he first interviews before letting them in! The best of their entire group! So, he shouldn't be allowing them in at all. They are just plain a threat with no redeeming qualities and their morals are literally backwards. They cannot function in a world with other people in it.

Is the author a sociopath?

Did you turn off your brain or something? Seems like you hate them that much, become blind and bias.

First, it's their land in the first place, their ancestors have lived in the forest for a long time. Second, the humans invading their forest for their own benefit, especially want to monopolize the ambrosia flower. Want a simple example? Just look at these 3 idiot adventurers, the first time they found the ambrosia flower is in there, they shamelessly claim it.

Well, that was an incredible spell for torture though. Such a waste if not utilizing it to the fullest, the tree can be good for environment too.

Also, our naïve MC is making a big blunder here. Kind of double standard. He's doing an interview aka screening to those forest ogres before allowing them enter his dimension, but he didn’t do it to the humans. He deliberately allowing 3 stupid humans with ill intentions to enter. I thought for the "city in the fog" project, he'll use Toa's party as the first to promote the necessities there, but I was wrong… Damn!

ooh, the first clip I watched about the anime is slowly approaching!
SPOILERS BELOW
a couple years ago, I watched a clip of Makoto flipping the switch on that bitch for killing the children in his realm. That completely sold me on the anime, so I decided to watch it not long after. Now I decided to read the manga because I'm running out of things to read, and I ran out of things to watch long ago lol. It's sad that I stopped watching anime for basically two seasons, but catched up to my backlog in less than a month.

you probably already read chapters that talk about this since it's been 6 days, but that's something the girls will talk to him about. That is, the way he is biased towards hyumans. SMALL SPOILER AHEAD (unless you also watched the anime, then it's not. Anyway, stop reading if you don't want to ruin your experience and stuff, but this is pretty small. Stop. Have you stopped yet? Last warning. Ok, good). He'll drop his bias, at least partially, in future chapters. He will even become more conscious of his own power and act as an independent force, dealing with both demons and hyumans. I honestly really like this bit of character growth from him!
