@shlhebm I think they figure out how to undo the tree curse later, but the victim needs to want it, and the ones who've been stuck that way for long are mindbroken.
@TheDevilsApprentice@sircusa great responses but I just don't feel the same. Hated the series after I was done with Iroha's arc. I guess I like harems too much. When a story baits me with harem and gives me a beta MC, I pretty much swear off JP novels for a long time.
@firosahoge
That's perfectly understandable. Yeah, it can be difficult to figure out if a series has what you want or not. One of my favourites, Death Mage Doesn't Want a Fourth Time, initially comes off as an edgy revenge story when it really is a typical isekai with a mostly platonic harem and a dark comedy twist. In regards to Tsuki ga, it is definitely not a harem
as Tomoe and Mio are the only love interests. I'm almost certain he'd make love with Mio if the series ever ended. Tomoe is very up in the air though. It seems likely they'd get into a relationship but I also wouldn't be surprised if nothing happened.
@Owyn It's already established that the MC is a genius spellcaster. He can effortlessly use any element although his strongest affinity is water. The lich's appearance is pretty random but he's a key character in the story.
@Lanfear He's not really friends, he's still highly suspicious of the forest ogres. However he's willing to give them a chance as he wants their botanical knowledge and with how overpowered he is, he sort of has a high tolerance for people trying to kill him because it's equivalent to a harmless bug trying to bite him. (he does get legitimately enraged in the right situations)
@Owyn
He doesn't, he learned the basics from the orc girl at the beginning of the series and then from there he doesn't need anymore help to improve on his own. Like I said, he's a genius spellcaster. The spellcasting language is so intuitive to him that he can make spells on the spot like so.
@Owyn The thing with spells is, from what I can gather, is words carry a lot of power. Since he knows japanese language(considered ancient ningen language in that world) and all other non-human language, he has incredible versatility with words. And I think that with the blessings he has + his own 'genius' with spells he is able to formulate spells with ease and probably even invent them. Plus, he's been in this world for at least a few months by now I think so he's either taught by emma or doing his own research. According to the raws for next chapter it seems that he will explain to the lich the source of how he knows the spell he used but since i dont know moonrunes I didn't quite understand if it was something he read in books or if he came up with it himself.
Best Boy is here!!! That was a pretty sick "fight" and conversation between him and Makoto. He thinks Makoto is really perceptive and quick on the uptake, but the truth is...he's just tropey enough to be predictable. XD
And, as expected, the hyuman trio continue to be utterly obnoxious and pointlessly arrogant. As you tend to be when a goddess spoils you.
Mio loves spy flicks? That's...adorable. Shit. Now I wanna see Mio in a femme fatale dress. Or is it phantom thief stories?
@sircusa Yes this manga really does the WN justice. I especially like how the manga showed how much dirty work Rembrant did and why his family was cursed (bloody deserved it honestly).
The Rembrant Sisters actually like him too. And the Gorgons want his dick. But the gorgons want dick in general so they kinda don't count for too much.
@kazamakj It's hard to say if he really deserved it since it was his family that got hurt by this. And what he did is actually pretty normal when it comes to merchants. Merchants in this world are evil. They have to be or they won't survive. Being naive and nice will get you culled. If you want to do it fair and square you have to be so powerful no one can touch you.
@kazamakj
Nah, it's the bug goddess that deserves to be cursed. Her favoritism is what allowed her precious hyumans to become the conceited opportunistic bastards they are.
I really don't understand what happened in this chapter, unless it's been so long that I forgot everything. Why did a lich come out of the forest ogre? Why does the MC know him? What's with the deal with people turning into trees? Why did they want to kill the MC?
I don't fully understand them myself but I think they were to give Makoto some confidence that he isn't on the wrong path. There were 3 of them if I remember correctly, one where he's a psychopath, one where he's in love with that manipulative princess and one where he becomes the demon king.
this is the 3 future dreams from 3 different God to warn Makoto. Something bad will happen if he follows one of them. I don't know which God and the details of the dreams too.
