@tigerstar186 The outfit he had made constantly takes away from his magic(mana?) so he doesn't appear as one to them. Also not talking and using the magic writting helps since he cannot speak the Human Language. I think?

@netsoupi on top that he can use realm to insulate his mana. plus the rings can link with his outfit to double the overall affect. on a side note his magic writing doesnt surpress his mana, he does it cause the humans of this world cant understand him.

@Coldlight After he sees how Rembrandt and his assassin butler don't mind ugly and disfigured people especially when Rembrandt and Morris were talking about having a painting being commissioned after MC cured his wife and daughters. He was meeting with Rembrandt and Morris and told them he wasn't cursed just ugly for their standards (even though his parents were both very attractive and his sisters too apparently). After he removes his mask they say it ain't that bad and compare him to a kobold which his head shape looks like based on the hibiki chapter of her saving the saintess in early chapters as they were attacked by a hoard of kobold. There are few manga that depict kobold appropriately and this manga does a decent job. I still think he should wear the mask imo
