@MrMcNasty its not an assumption but rather doubting his choice of action. And dude, going to extreme pacifist or a hot blooded killer is never a good thing. In this instance where his life is in danger, i don't really see any problem if he retaliate and ends up killing them, thats my point. He doesn't need to justify his retaliation because they are the aggressor.

Its not that mc is retarded, think of it this way, you live on earth with earth rules, now you suddenly get tossed into another world and gain magic. I mean sure, you know you are strong, but you don't go around testing your power out on everyone and everything. you STILL have that 'well i'm just an average human' mentality. Mc also can't really feel how strong he is or properly gauge how effective what he is doing is. I mean, It would be like if you had a .22 rifle (this is the weakest or among the weakest firearm rounds you can get), and you were just shooting some targets, and then suddenly it hits the target like a .50 bmg (one of if not the strongest you can readily get your hands on)
mc knows he's not normal but doesn't put it to the test all the time.
when he does, the fights don't last long so he can't gauge how strong he is
he also, at least to where I am, more or less fights 1 on 1, or in small numbers, so he has no real gauge that the single people he is fighting easily are people who are literally 1 man armies.
the strongest thing he fought up to the point im at, and I mean actually fought, not an exhibition/spar he told 'you aint shit' with color commentary from tomoe and shiki
and more or less that's it, where i'm at now is him coming to terms with himself being a nation ending threat, and he has 3 people below him who are just considered forces of nature you can't stop

I think it was implied that a nuke was about to be dropped, because he managed to piss a god that specializes in summoning things off, and how it would have been a problem for them but waka would have been fine.

@FlamingSquirrel The WN of this series is still updated. From what I remember, this manga chapter is in WN chapter 60-80ish, just dig it yourself and you'll find it.
