I'm assuming the MTL didn't catch the pronoun usage correctly; Selene knows the Prince's actual gender, and since those are all internal thoughts from her, she'd use the correct gender there.

About the people asking why the sniper don't do some abandoned series, it's pretty simple, 99% of snipers are done in bad faith, either for money or to farm attention, the advent of mtl just made it worse really

Real issue in my opinion isn't snipers, but idiots who don't understand snipers are not our friends, they only care about "reading" the mangas as fast as possible even if translation is full of mistakes or even is just outright made-up

Unfortunately snipers won't stop being a thing cause some people are too dumb to understand why sniping is bad, they'll inevitably throw themselves on all fours and praise any loser like pathetic sheep

Like, I have a modicum of respect for people who see a series that hasn't gotten any updates in like 6 years and goes "I can't do this properly but at least if I can do something" and uses MTL for that. Right? Usually I'm against mtl out of principle, but there's a few rare people who actually do it in good faith with series that otherwise nobody would translate

It's a shame most people who do mtl give it a bad reputation, cause otherwise it could have been an actually useful tool since so many series are dead for years
