Thanks for the translations.

I just realized something, though. I've definitely seen metric measurements in the main story, not just in the recipes at the end. This chapter definitely has imperial measurements, though.

Is the Japanese text in imperial measurements?

All measurements are same as written in Japanese.
For the small measuring spoons, the Japanese (big/small spoon) and Western (tbsp/tsp) also happen to be the same size (15ml/5ml).

Thank you for the reply.

As an aside, I think it's both nonsensical and ultimately foolish to call it "Western" in this situation. Not just you but a lot of people would do it.

Is the Metric system, which the Japanese use, suddenly non-Western? The Metric system, invented by the French and used by almost the entirety of the world, is non-Western, is Japanese. And only the Imperial system, which is used by a handful of countries, is the "Western" system.

It creates this false dichotomy and makes things look special even when it's nonsense.

/end rant. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

For the egg, you could use full effect for 30 second instead, from what I can see when I was checking (since 200 W seemed so low)
