Aww they had a happy family

AWW SHES GOT SAD EYES BECAUSE SHE WANTS ALL THE TIME SHE HAS LEFT WITH HIM

I always get a little sad seeing the twilight of human-immortal relationships
Same
however in such cases, though it feels like an emotional kick in the nuts; I suspect the point was the journey, because they’d never reach the same destination, time wise

Damn such a nice wholesome manga, also a little depressing knowing she'll outlive him

The nice thing about that ending tho? Since hell and heaven exist as well as the concept of souls, therefore when the dude died, he will be reunited with his wife in heaven, so it isnt that sad. Their kins can visit them too cuz the magic for that exists.

Thanks for the translation! Wholesome ending, if a bit rushed

What's with the ending? Tired after doing the wedding? But he looked so old already. Is this one of those "turns out all of the things that happened were just a dream" type of ending? What?

Sadly, Kurita-sensei learned how difficult it is to maintain two manga titles. Her bread and butter is "My Wife is a Little Intimidating." So "How My Wife's Mood Changes the Weather" was a side manga project. Once Sensei realized she couldn't maintain two manga and keep the quality up, she just did enough chapters to complete volume 2 of the manga.

That said, it is sad the manga ended. While there have been many manga titles featuring a supernatural being getting married to a human, there aren't many manga set during this time in Japanese history. The closest I've seen was "Natsu no Arashi", where they'd go back in time to World War II Japan at times.
Taisho Otome Fairytale is another set around the same time period I believe.

Da fuk was that ending? Why would you make a scene that would make it look like him dying of old age? WHY???
