I am so #TeamTouma. And yes, he does look a little like Shishio. A little. ?

Only 3 chapters translated thus far but it seems pretty good as of now. Likable main characters, MC's very capable and smart, she kind of reminds me of a slightly tsundere version of Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. The pace of the story has been good thus far, and we've slowly getting to know both male leads.

@Tammy ahaha "budget Shishio" cracked me up. Their personalities are similar too.

hmm, love triangle between a girl and two guys. One of the guys is a childhood friend, I don't have to read this to know where it will go. Childhood friend will lose in the end, that is how it usually goes. So, reading this become pointless.

Yeah the childhood friend usually never wins in a love triangle, and judging from what I read so far (up to chapter 5) this manga is not seeking to buck the trend. It's only a matter of time before the childhood friend has to either confess his love only to be rejected, catches his crush with the other guy and deals with heartbreak, or slowly learn that he will never have his feelings returned and quietly accepts defeat. Or he goes yandere...

I hate when creators/writers put in a childhood friend simply to draw tension and possibly get sympathy from some readers, because you know it all will amount to a big ol pile of nothing.

It would one thing if the manga gave hints that maybe the childhood friend could win in the end, but that is not the case here.

You almost feel sorry for the childhood friend until you realize that the author is using the childhood friend trope to get an artificial reaction from the reader.

Give me a break! Shoujo writers, stop wasting our time with love triangles! Either focus on one romance, or at least try to make us believe that both romantic options are at least somewhat likely.

@hope2009

The man is the childhood friend's uncle. He's not related to the female lead.

Although, given the manga industry's weird thing for incest these days, would you honestly be surprised if they made a manga about a romance between an aunt/uncle and nephew/niece?

Thanks for the explanation.. I really do hate these kinds of girls. Seriously, If I was the childhood friend, I'll make her choose btw him or his uncle.. I'll cut all contact with her to see if she can live without the childhood friend but I know she can’t yet she wants both and that is selfish 😡😡

I want so badly to enjoy this but it just reads like Touma is grooming her :/ she's 16 or 17 at best if Yuu is in middle school, and Touma is at least 21. Gross gross gross

Can someone spoil me the story? I really hope childhood friend wins but he probably won’t.
