I think that what the previous chapters are trying to emphasize is that there is a difference between someone who is all talk and someone who would actually do it.

The passenger mirrors the edgy highschool student while the driver mirrors Spica

Well the kid was not a serial killer, strangely enough, since everyone else is a serial killer, and this is a manga about serial killers, so we had to move on onto serial killer number 893241958

Can't remain stuck on the one weirdo that doesn't goes around killing
that was like someone mentioned, if ichikawa meet an anna was crazier than him,XD the rest was that out of genre experience with spica being the teen she technically is?

And that's how you pull a twist, was weird as fuck as those cars were very old and i was right, the flashback wasn't the young guy but someone else

I think that previous chapter was just introducing a side story that will be interwoven throughout the main story as it goes along. Since it showed he’s been part of it since the beginning, we’ll get to see how he plays a role in the future. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets kidnapped next since he’s also expressed his desire to kill like this guy did.

My brother in Christ, there have been precisely zero arcs since this started. This is a cute little psychopath girl hunting a psychopath-of-the-week deal. Week's over, now it's this guy's turn.
Lmao, you literally describe a Super Sentai curriculum my dude. She is literally out here "destroying all evils" but instead of the bad monsters go kaboom, what you have here is a killer not even understanding herself.

Thats the point the guy was trying to make.
I was also expecting some kind of twist to the previous case with the chuuny kid. Like maybe he would become a killer for real or almost become a victim of a real killer and then Spica would rescue him.
...maybe that could still happen next chapter.
But if not, it seems the chuuny kid chapters were just a brief rest from the previous chaos.

Theres a possibility that the kid from the previous chapter and the taxi driver killer will end up crossing paths on next chapter.
I mean, like someone pointed, this is the first time we are told whos the real killer from the start, which is weird.
So maybe next chapter will have the chuuny kid being "cured" from his "Im a psychopath" silliness by actually meeting a real murderer and almost become his victim, just to end up being saved by Spica.

since apparently we already know who is the bad guy of the week from the let go, I expect lil sis to have more trouble with this one somehow (just to not make it bland)

I gotta say, this manga ended up exactly where I was afraid it would lol (Spica hunting random psychos of the week with little focus on character relationships). Oh well, guess it'll just be a "turn your brain off and enjoy the ride" deal. A shame after the strong opening arc.

Thanks for the chapter. Wasn’t expecting that twist but that’s really cool
