When you stop and think about it, for every time Spica touches somebody and sees a vision of them committing murder there are probably at least a thousand incidents of her touching someone and just getting a mind's eyeful of some seriously kinky shit.

Maybe she's into it, maybe it bugs her, maybe she doesn't give a shit either way.
Whatever the case, absent murder, other people's kinks don't cause a visceral sense of wrongness that require "correcting".

Plausibly, a serial rapist might push those buttons (sorry) in the same way, but for now, this work is not about that.

Based on some of her thoughts in previous chapters, she seemed disappointed that someone had managed to escape her judgment, as she didn't feel like it would be okay to kill the old man while he couldn't remember his crimes.

I wonder if she'll come across a 'yakuza thug' at some point, if she considers that a 'misbutton' b/c crime is wrong of course but 'organized crime/mafia' like yakuza factions and stuff is just kinda a part of JP culture(?) to where idk if she'd bother unless one is esp harsh or eliminates a particular one or so

I'll keep reading but this series definitely fails as a mystery. I feel like the majority of the cases thus far there are zero ways for an attentive reader to figure out the mystery for themselves, the hallmark of a good mystery series. Occasionally showing something as common as a phone cord couldn't possibly clue you into "as a kid he saw his mother die in kink play".

Tohakari (the chuuni kid) was initially being seduced/manipulated by an incarcerated serial killer, Rukia Nosuga, who is somehow still committing murders from behind a jail cell. Spica quickly realizes something's up and tries to take out Rukia, but since Rukia is behind bars Spica has no way of actually reading her mind, and so she's basically at a dead-end. Tohakari manages to figure out on his own how Rukia is committing these murders after talking to other guys she's manipulating, and he ends up confronting Rukia in public after she sneaks out. But since Tohakari is just a kid with no evidence, he can't actually do anything to Rukia (which is probably where Spica will come in next chapter)

Yeah, Sounds fun, shame Aphrodite seems behind unless they have their own website or are just taking a break , tho I’d expect someone like that would avoid being touched by a regular girl
Unless Spica “accidentally” bumps into her unless she feels confident enough to be able to manipulate another teen or just Like do a handshake or so bc most ppl wouldn’t suspect someone able of telepathy if they’re asking to shake a hand

Tho other than “preemptively” Setting up traps sounds like the kinda femme fatale /beauty that’d manipulate other men into doing these crimes if she’s not some pseudo cult leader that just “convinces” her followers to commit a group suicide
