There are a lot of “yes” in this series, as rose often uses “ええ”, rein also uses it sometimes, but all like elina and other people when talking to rose use “はい”. so I think “ええ” is a casual version that is usually said by higher status or close persons. all I can think of is “yeah”. if you have a better word please say it.

Yeah, I thought of that too, but the word “sure” in my opinion, is not as flexible as the word yes/yeah. like when rose's maid asked about whether rose read the fairy tale again, and rose said “ee”, the word “sure” can't be used here.
