Because they’re the goat.

I think a big part of it is that you get similar catharsis to a standard power fantasy. The power system is just empathy, political savvy, good looks and charm. I’m also nowhere near the demographic but since next life as a villainess I’m been hooked on the formula.

After a month and still no adaptation tags, meaning that several people including me have searched for it and found nothing, it's probably the original manga.



I have translated all the chapters, but for cl and ts it takes a lot of time (about 5-12 hours for 30 page, if it's a manga type like katarika it might take 2 days full). therefore I will schedule this title more frequently for next month.

One thing that kinda downplays the yet-to-be-seen idea of love between the two (hopefully this becomes a plot point or is at least resolved) is the fact that YES, he could marry into any prestigious family easily, but... she's a princess? Royalty? He's a noble who has an obvious desire to rise up higher, so... wouldn't this call into question his supposed "love" for her? Though i guess our airhead mc probably won't think this hard about it.
