This manga always had clumsy storytelling, but still.

And the flashback was a horrid filler. The premise is good enough to create interesting shock value but it's way too tame. Maybe it will pick up but darn

Yeah, the story does have a major flaw where characters are seemingly defined by their internal drama instead of anything else...but it’s still an interesting main premise even if the stakes seem all over the place.

I know this manga is riddled with unnecessary drama and trauma stuff, but it's not that bad considering it's the author's first serialisation, I hope they learn how to flesh out characters more and not cramp so much stuff in just one chapter and create more amazing stuff!
