I like reading this while trying to think of how one would adapt it using modern Linux. I think it would be pretty difficult given these chapters are the improvements of Linux/Ubuntu overtime whereas modern Linux is mostly plug and play and mainline Ubuntu is just flat out GNOME.

This chapter would probably be about PostmarketOS... and there would have to be a systemd or Rust in kernel civil war for one of the chapters
